Helping Kids When Mom Is Sick

Author Gwen Ratermann's new book, "Healthy Mom Healthy Me," gives children an opportunity to understand the difficult emotions they are going through when they learn their mother has an illness. Based on tools she used when her husband faced cancer, Gwen allows kids to use their own creativity -- through art and writing -- to address the issues that come with such a life-changing moment.
